The rubber is wearing off my eKO® mat where I place my hands/feet - is this normal?Updated 2 years ago

With regular use over time, the eKO® mat will display patches where the rubber is wearing out. These patches can usually be found on the top and the bottom of the mat, where the hands and feet are placed continually during a yoga session, slowly wearing down the material. Eventually, this can also lead to pieces of rubber coming off in those places. This is not a manufacture defect, but rather the natural progression of a well used mat.
